Two Dudes and a Pickleball Tournament

Daddy became obsessed with this great sport called Pickleball and last week he was in charge and directed a tournament in Ogden, Utah. Nessa was his little buddy and collected scores, filled brackets, and ate a banana. They both were volunteers. Daddy won the Mens' Doubles Intermediate Division Tournament 1st PLACE with Blake Young!!! Nessa and Dad like to bug Blake and tease him so he plays better -- Blake likes to be picked on, so he can push himself to play his best. Here is Nessa's favorite line: "Blake! You swing like a baby girl with a purse!!" Good job, Blake and Daddy for their great win! But this is also really cool - the local newspaper, the Standard Examiner, interviewed a senior player, collected some footage, and walla! Here's a video all about pickleball...and if you watch, you'll see a cute little assistant bracket manager (Nessa) with her blue bows and a braid. GOOD JOB, OGDEN PICKLEBALL!
